Agrident has launched the all new AWR300 Stick Reader. With many outstanding features like 12 hours permanent read mode, a large colour display, an integrated database and the Wi-Fi option the AWR300 is the new top of the range stick reader for the livestock market. In addition to the many new features, the AWR300 offers the advantages of the long-time proven AWR200 as for example the outstanding read range, a very robust housing and an exchangeable battery.
The Advantages in detail:
1. A long-lasting Battery
Due to a new reader technology the battery lasts much longer than of any other stick reader. More than 30 hours in push to read mode and up to 12 hours in permanent read mode are possible.
2. The large Colour Display
The new large colour TFT-display shows much more information than before. It makes the operation much more easier and in combination with the integrated Database it shows many information about the animal.
3. The better Signalisation
The integrated loudspeaker, vibration and the colour display offer various ways to indicate preprogramed alarms and actions.
4. The large Memory
The Flash memory of 4 GB offers enough space for up to 1 Million records.
5. Task Mode and Integrated Database
The AWR300 is backwards compatible to the AWR200 and software compatible to APR500 including TASK and DATA BASE mode. Self-defined Tasks can be loaded and make frequent works convenient and quicker. The Data Base Mode offers offline data about the specific animal and can handle several databases for up to 50.000 data sets. The data can be changed and added from customized lists (e.g.
medicines). It connects to Major scale brands via Bluetooth or RS232 and adds the weight into the database.
6. More Connectivity
Beside USB, RS232 and Bluetooth the unique Wi-Fi option makes reliable connections to Smart phones, wireless networks and scales very simple. Data transfer from and to the AWR300 is very easy using the File transfer or virtuel comport option.
7. Light and Robust Housing
The new robust IP 67 housing is more than 20% lighter and better balanced than any current stick reader. This keeps hands and arms relaxed at long-lasting workdays. The new designed connector for USB and RS232 is easy to handle and very robust. It is IP 67 proof even without an additional rubber cap.
